Bee Eye En Gee Oh

You may recall that my car was trapped down in Long Beach last weekend. Parking bastards. I finally got it back on Wednesday. Chris drove it up from Long Beach to Glendale and we hung out at my place for a while. Actually, we went to the Galleria and the Americana - mostly to the Apple Store. Chris hooked my computer up to my TV so now I can watch YouTube videos of Fred on my 37" plasma. Yay. After that, we went off to look for something to eat and drink. I got lost on the way to Akbar and The Kitchen, so I ended up at Hamburger Mary's. Which was great because it happened to be Drag Queen Bingo night. Yay.
So we took our bingo cards, ordered our double berry martinis, and sat down for nibbles and bingo played LOUDLY. We didn't win anything, but we did have a fun night. It seems so strange that after a week off and doing nothing, I would start my first week back at work by going out on Monday AND Wednesday. Did I say Monday? Yes, yes I did.

Another BJ

Monday night I asked Don if he wanted to go out to dinner since we didn't get to have Sunday brunch since my car was stuck back in Long Beach. Remember? I just mentioned it above. So we went out to have a beer and some Italian food and catch up on things like Grey Gardens and gym memberships and who is naked on which gay sexy website... Good times.

Twelve Nights

Saturday night came along and found me enjoying Shakespeare's birthday by watching Shakespeare. Gus's friend Zack was in Twelfth Night at Rio Hondo and I tagged along to see it since tickets were only a penny. How can I turn that down? The play was - so so - it was updated to the 1800s for some reason... not sure why... some funny stuff, and thought it wasn't brilliant, it was good to hang with Gus and catch up with him.
