Work Work Work

It really wasn't much of an "exciting" week. I did a lot of work-work-work this week. Some of it was fun - we got fed sugar and taught to use cell phones as survey devices in classrooms (and I got to stare at the cute trainer guy in the cap). True, it's a school rule not to allow cell phones on campus, but - well - that's academic bureaucracy for you. Spend a day out of class (17 subs total) to learn how to do something that we won't be able to do because of contrary rules. Your tax dollars at work.
I did get a chance to see some new cameras during the day, basically it was the "reason" to spend a lot of time talking to cute boy. And now I want a new camera. I'm looking at the Canon EOS T1i. I think I'll be buying one this coming week.

Daddy Likes Mambo's

One of my non-work events was going out to dinner with Joel to Mambo's Cafe. It's a Cuban place here in Glendale. The food was good (I had the "dirty laundry") but the views were better. Yet another hottie server that spoke to Joel mostly in Spanish. It was kind of... odd. Being the odd man out. But it was nice to see Joel again.

Spirit Quest

It's almost Samhain. So it makes sense that I'm feeling that pull to find my spiritual center. I've been doing some readings again (with the sexy deck) and wondering how I will celebrate the end of this year.
