Wow, what a week. Now this is how one should live. I don't like to use the word should much, but I really mean it this week - I got out, I did things, I saw friends, I had good times, I took classes, I was out there, man. Living the dream.

This week's events range from a zoo trip to a mid-week birthday party in a gay bar where a friend was the gogo spa boy... to a new photography class at the LA Gay & Lesbian Center... to a very long day that started with drag queens and drinking and ended 12 hours later with drag queens and drinking. Somewhere in the middle of that were nearly-naked men competing in a leather contest amid dancing cowboys. I mean, come on! You don't get this shit in Iowa, kids.

So here it is today, March 1, and 1/6th of the year is over. I gotta tell ya, it feels like a very good year so far.

I've lost focus. I've lost some dedication. After two months, I suppose that happens. At any rate, this is the first time this year that I've gone up instead of down, so I can beat it. I just have to take this warning and move in the right direction. As of today, the total is:
