I wish things were better. But seriously, they suck. I'm just holding on with an attempt at calm, but being back at work again today was hellish. I'm angry. I'm taking it out on coworkers who I have enjoyed working with for three years. I'm taking it out a little on the kids, too.

Short version, I was called into a meeting Friday to tell me that I "may be affected by the coming layoffs." I have until March 15 to worry. If I get a pink slip, then I have to face three months of working there knowing I'm not being rehired even though I have permanent status as a teacher.

There were good times this week, Saturday was fan-fucking-tastic, but I'm all Monday-mopey about this RIF business. More on the inside, of course, and know that I had an amazing time supporting Don in his bid for Mr. Sister Leather this weekend. Oh, and Sunday I had a date that I'm not supposed to talk about. He's shy.
