It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. San Francisco really gets into it.

First, it feels like the holidays because in just three weeks I got my $1100 grant proposal funded and I'll be getting 4 Flip HD Videocameras for my classroom. That's kind of awesome, and thanks to everyone who contributed and helped spread the word. I love you all. Now I can do some of what I enjoyed so much with Pearson, and get kids writing and making movies.

Next, I started decorating. By "started decorating" I mean that in one half hour, I opened a box, hung some lights in the window, and then sat down for the evening with coffee spiked with amaretto and watched Mean Girls on demand. Yeah, that's holiday.

And then the events. Everywhere you look there's half naked Santas running around.

It. Is. Awesome.
